Protecting your personal data is important to me. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data Betty Boehlen Coaching processes in connection with this website, communication with you, appointment bookings and the provision of coaching services.

 

This Privacy Policy is based on Swiss data protection law, in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP. Where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, may also apply, especially if individuals from the EU or EEA use my website or my services.

 

In addition to legal data protection requirements, Betty Boehlen Coaching is guided by professional ethical standards in coaching, in particular the standards of the International Coaching Federation, ICF, and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, EMCC. These include confidentiality, integrity, respectful handling of personal information, clear boundaries of confidentiality and responsible handling of client data.

Special categories of personal data, such as health-related data or highly personal information, are only processed if you voluntarily share such information with me in connection with your inquiry or a coaching session and if it is relevant for the organisation or provision of coaching.

If you contact me by email, contact form, phone, booking tool or social media, I process the data you provide in order to respond to your inquiry, organize a  intro call or coaching session and document our communication.

 

6. Appointment booking via SimplyMeet / Calendly / other providers 

 

I use SimplyMeet for appointment bookings. If you book an appointment through SimplyMeet, the data you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number if provided, preferred appointment time and any additional information, will be processed by SimplyMeet.

 

The use of SimplyMeet supports the simple and reliable organization of intro calls calls and coaching appointments. The privacy policy of SimplyMeet also applies to data processing carried out by SimplyMeet.

 

7. Coaching sessions, confidentiality and professional ethical standards

 

Personal information may be discussed during coaching sessions. I treat such information confidentially and with particular care.

 

In addition to legal data protection requirements, my work is guided by the ethical principles of ICF and EMCC. These include in particular:

 

  • respectful and responsible handling of personal information

  • maintaining the confidentiality of client data

  • clear communication about when confidentiality may be limited by law

  • secure storage and careful deletion or archiving of records

  • transparency towards clients about the use of their data

 

Confidentiality may be limited where there is a legal obligation to disclose information or where disclosure is necessary to protect individuals from serious harm.

 

Coaching does not replace medical, psychotherapeutic, legal or financial advice. I do not provide medical diagnoses or therapeutic treatment.

 

 

8. Online coaching and video conferencing

 

Online coaching sessions may take place via video conferencing services such as [e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet or insert other tool]. When using such services, personal data such as your name, email address, technical connection data and communication content may be processed by the respective provider.

 

Please also refer to the privacy policy of the respective video conferencing provider.

 

9. Cookies and similar technologies
